Chronology
Three strangers – who live in the same New York City apartment building and share an obsession with true crime – suddenly find themselves involved in a murder. Steve Martin is actually playing the concertina in several scenes. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the opening has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th – the reverse order and much lower than CHS’ actually proper within the series. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed Only Murders in the Building. There’s a reason both seasons were nominated for and won so many awards.
All three of them are so likable and easy to root for in this series
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the writing are what makes this show so special. Martin and Short play off each other like the legends they are, and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This show was so good and each episode is so entertaining that I binged both seasons over the course of a weekend.
I can’t wait!
It’s a murder mystery show that has plenty of twists and turns and laughs. I can’t wait for season 3 to come out soon. Season 3 is set to be the best yet, with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
