He’s smart
He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During Season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

The complex, damaged characters, the twisted plot, and Dexter’s adoptive father grooming him, raising him, to become the perfect Avenger – it’s all so intoxicating! Not only is this show well-acted, with each and every main character capturing my full attention, but it’s written with such intensity that I find it absolutely irresistible. I’m really finding it hard to wait and see more about how Dex was traumatized as a child, more about Harry’s lessons, more about the growing relationship with Rita, more about the Ice Truck Killer, more forensics…
