The opening sequence shows various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of the Sioux Indian chief «Touch the Clouds» wearing a war bonnet and a bone necklace (breastplate), placed atop the Brooklyn Bridge. A statue of a gold digger atop the Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch, placed on «The Avenue» in Upper Manhattan. In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, these are several numbered "Avenues" which are intersected by streets with smaller numbers..
I don’t think any other actor could have played this role
Sly is bigger than the small screen and is given the best lines in this show. I only watched the 1st episode on YT, I don’t have Paramount, but if there’s anything else that’s released on YT, I’d definitely watch it. His supporting cast is nameless, I don’t recognize all the other actors.
His age reflects well
And filming in Tulsa adds a "flavor" vs. filming in a Hollywood setting. I think Stallone has hit his peak with the Creed movies and this TV show.
This is the right fit for him
