Chronology
When a loyal police dog and his human police owner are both injured on the job, a botched but life-saving surgery unites them and the Dogman is born. The Dogman swore to protect and serve him—and fetch him, sit down, and fall over. As Dogman takes on his new identity and strives to impress his boss (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, Free Guy), he must stop the evil deeds of feline supervillain Petey the Cat (Pete Davidson; Saturday Night Live, King of Staten). Island). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating Lil Petey the cat to double his crime-fighting prowess. But things get complicated when Lil Petey forms an unexpected bond with Dogman. When Lil Petey falls into the clutches of a common enemy, Dogman and Petey reluctantly join forces in an action-packed race against time to save the young kitten. In the process, they discover the power of family (and kittens!) to bring even the most repulsive enemies together.
