The original Dune prologue tells the story of how the Rossak sisters evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valja Harkonnen using the voice is from one called Mentats of Dune. The evolution of the Sisters, Mentats, Navigators, and Sook Doctors intertwine throughout all three books.
It’s really interesting
Okay, so to be honest, I put off watching because every trailer seemed boring. Tonight, out of sheer desperation to watch something new, I went down and decided to give it a try. You know what, I’m glad I did.
The biggest flaw is the pacing so far
The acting is decent, the world is solid, there are some very dynamic characters. The first episode dragged on until the very end, but I’m not going to lie, the ending was good. My only concern is that this might have the same problem as Rings of Power.
Only time will tell
There’s a lot of buildup without a presentation. I’ll update this as soon as I manage to finish the entire series.
