Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in "Skeleton Crew" plus other stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young siblings is the same one that the Chewbacca family watches in the infamous Star Wars holiday special (1978). in Crazy Cartoon Cast AniMat: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). I watched the first two episodes and while there is a clear attempt to create "goonies in space" show what’s wrong with it? This is a much different take on a story that exists in the Star Wars universe. I enjoyed the look and feel of what a suburban town in this world looks like because we’ve never seen it before. The town they come from reminded me more of E.T.’s neighborhood than anything we’ve seen in recent shows. The four main characters are typical but likable, each with a clearly defined role in the group and well played by the actors. The pirate vibe isn’t necessarily something we’ve seen before, and it adds a slightly creepy element and a sense of danger. If this were an ’80s movie, it would fit in well. I’ve enjoyed it so far for the new storytelling elements in the Star Wars universe, the hint of nostalgia for the movies from my childhood, and the fact that I can share that Star Wars experience with my kids.
